General Notice

The Town of Lula is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

2022 Lula Drainage Improvement Project MCWI MDEQ Project No. 458-1-SW-5.6

 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Lula Town hall located at 118 Second Street, Lula MS 38644 where Bids will be received, untilJuly 18, 2024, at 12 noon local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

The project includes removingsediment and debris from various drainage channels/ditches and replacing underground/damaged storm drain culverts.

 The Project has an expected duration of 360 days.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will beupdated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will beresponsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Plans, contract documents and proposal forms are on file for public inspection in the office of Lula Town Hall, Second St Lula, MS 38670 and in the office of the Engineer, Cornerstone Engineering, LLC (Attn; Mauricka McKenzie, P.E.), 600 E. Northside Drive, Suite A, Clinton, MS 39056 (601-473-2403}. Instructions to Bidders.

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included •in the Bidding Documents.

Each proposal ml.lst accompany a certified check or bid bond for five ercent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the Town of Lula.

Bids must be hand-delivered or otherwise physically delivered by public or private couriers or delivery services, including but not limited to U. S. Postal Service, Certified Mail with return receipt requested, United Parcel Service, Federal Express, or by any other delivery method wherein receipt of said bids much be acknowledged, in writing, by the addressee to the Town of Lula Town Clerk, Attention: Charnele Mitchell, 118 Second Street, Lula, MS 38644.
